Accessibility statement

Our aim

Mahirs Foundation CIC wants everyone to be able to use this website. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.

What we have done

• A “skip to content” link at the top of every page, and a menu you can use with a keyboard.
• Text descriptions for photographs.
• The photo slideshow at the top of the homepage stops moving if your device is set to reduce motion.
• Pages that resize for phones, tablets and computers, and work when you zoom in.
• Clear headings, plain English and strong colour contrast for the main text.

Known limits

This website has not yet been independently tested for accessibility. Some logos from earlier years are small images, and the green hosting badge in the footer is provided by The Green Web Foundation.
